What we collect
When you use StableDomains, we store the following in our database:
- Wallet addresses — payer wallet for payment verification, domain ownership, and abuse prevention.
- Domain records — registered domains, DNS configurations, registration and expiry dates.
- Job records — registration job status and progress for async domain provisioning.
- SIWX nonces — used nonces for replay attack prevention. No personal data.
What we do not collect
- Cookies or tracking — this site sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and does not track visitors.
- Personal identity — we identify users by wallet address only. We do not collect names, physical addresses, or phone numbers.
- DNS query logs — we do not log DNS queries made to your domains.
How we use your data
- Domain records — used to manage registration, DNS, renewals, and ownership verification.
- Payment records — used to verify payment settlement and enforce the bonding curve.
- Registration logs — used for rate limiting and abuse detection.
Third parties
Your data is processed by:
- Porkbun — registers domains on your behalf. Subject to Porkbun Privacy Policy.
- AWS Route53 — hosts DNS for registered domains. Subject to AWS Privacy Policy.
- Coinbase x402 facilitator — settles USDC payments on Base. Subject to Coinbase Privacy Policy.
- Neon (database) — stores domain and registration records. Subject to Neon Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosts the application. Subject to Vercel Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Data retention
Domain records are retained for the lifetime of the registration plus a grace period after expiry. Registration logs are retained indefinitely for abuse prevention. SIWX nonces are retained for replay prevention. We may implement automated log rotation in the future.
Your rights
Since we identify users by wallet address only, there is no account to delete. If you want your registration logs removed, open an issue on GitHub and we will process your request.
Changes
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
